Hello, we have been in conversation with the SC DOI about the implementation of the new bail laws for South Carolina. We have set an industry meeting to clear up any misunderstandings about what is expected. 

The Department of Insurance will be there to explain the new changes for the bonding industry in South Carolina. Some of these changes will dictate how you charge and collect premiums, apprehending defendants for non-payment of premiums and electronic monitoring fees, new forms, etc. 

SC Court Administration and SLED will also be in attendance to discuss court procedures and the new Electronic Monitoring requirements. 

Everyone in the bonding industry is invited to this meeting regardless of your membership status. Although attendance is free, we are requiring registration so enough room will be reserved for the meeting. Please register early!
